Small revolution in the world of hi-fi laptop, since it is the first true player vinyl, a sort of hybrid between pick-up and Walkman.

And in an attempt (desperate?) To counter Sony and its legendary Walkman, 1st name …

The argument was "no bigger than a shoe" (!) And actually the camera does not really seem large (standard for the time of course)
The aircraft was embarking taken two mini-jack to connect two headsets, height of refinement: a vinyl listen to two waow … …

The mechanism of the "platinum" is a belt and the sound was of high quality.

The cells and replacement belts are still available in specialized sites, or auction.
Average price of the beast, opportunity: $ 250

A clone of the iPod touch for 37 euros

The Chinese manufacturers take an Olympic shape. Thus, Ustar offers a media player that is reminiscent of the iPod Touch, for a price completely ridiculous.

It must be said that the iPod is still not touch on sale in China and that local manufacturers are doing everything to meet the growing demand.

Mini-player and mini-prix

ustar rm660Le Ustar RM660 taken into mainCe model, the RM660 is sold at 399 yuan, slightly less than 37 euros only!

Taking its characteristics: the RM660 has a 2.8-inch touch screen, 2 GB of memory and can read the most traded formats (MP3, AVI, WMV, FLV, RM, MPG, FLAC or EPAs).

On paper it makes a product therefore a priori very tempting. What will happen on the length?

IPod Speakers 2 to 1

How to distinguish themselves in the jungle of docking stations for iPod? Gear4 appears to achieve with its system Duo. This audio dock consists of two elements: a subwoofer constituting the body and a facade satellite.

The originality of the Duo comes from its ability to split in two. The facade stands out with the iPod grafted. We can then take him everywhere. Two sites are planned to accommodate batteries but only one comes with the device. The objective is to enable the user to double the autonomy of the mobile part of the Duo. The box also serves as a charger for the batteries.

The whole issue a total of 38 Watts. The facade hosts 2 x 2 speakers. A 6-Watts and another 3 Watts. A total of 18 Watts leaving the caisson 20 Watts. The sound provided obviously loses in depth at the separation of elements. The Duo is a solution to equip a station for iPod at home, who also serves as a forum for travel. A mini-audio input jack allows the use of the duo Gear4 with another player as the iPod. The duo was announced in June 2008 to 200 euro.

Projector DVDs with dock for the iPod… R2-D2!

r2-d2-proyector.jpgThis is so incredible pileup that looks like a joke. This is a projector, which includes DVD and CD player, dock for the iPod, speakers, all kinds of input and output connections and remote control… all in the body of a perfect 1:2 scale reproduction of the robot R2-D2 from "Star Wars".

The remote control is hidden inside a miniature reproduction of the Millennium Falcon, and of course the robot is fully motorized and has the same movement, lights and sounds as the original.

The dock for the iPod is also hidden inside the body of the robot, are deployed by clicking on it.

Finally, a marvel even to those who are not fans of Star Wars. Unfortunately the price, € 2799 (including VAT and transportation). This is a limited edition of 4000 numbered copies.

It is worthwhile to watch the video to see action in all mechanisms of the robot.
